Optimization Design Based on I-GA and Simulation Test Verification of 5-Stage Hydraulic Mechanical Continuously Variable Transmission Used for Tractor

To improve the characteristics of a tractor power transmission system, make system not only meet geometric principle but also working speed requirements tractor, realize continuous adjustment ratio, and solve interruption caused by change ratio. This paper proposes new type five-stage hydraulic mechanical continuously variable (HMCVT), design method based on I-GA. In this paper, intersection position each section is introduced in optimization process, six wet clutches, one brake two planetary rows are used to achieve flexible design. The results show that HMCVT proposed can effectively match required tractor. After optimization, ratio consistent with target (the average error about 3.27% common 1.81); simulation Simulation X highly theoretical values MAPE 36 experiments 0.72%); maximum 41.62 km/h. scheme provide direct basis for research development composite tractors or other vehicles agricultural machinery.
